I work in animal control. For all the people giving him c*** over not recognizing a gerbil versus a mouse, It happens all the time.

Bees/wasps. Gopher/mole/vole/mouse/rat.....something is making holes in the yard.

I sort of did this with my daughter, i got home and she was eating a jam sandwitch. I thought she had jam on her face when i saw red.

Noooo, wife came out and freaked a little, turns out it was blood.

Just a blood nose, but still here i was shrugging it off as jam.

Sounds like you’re caught in the middleman loop, so there’s the shake shack point of sale system processing the refund which has to go through Ubereats (still confused why they’re involved) and then your bank/card company, most refunds are not immediate (as LITTLE as 30 days in some cases) and your case has multiple stages. The main fuck up in this story is how much time you have spent seeking a refund over getting the wrong fries but sounds like you’ve come out ahead with bonus fries

Kinda of like how my grandfather reacted to a mouse in my mother's childhood home. One day my grandfather noticed a mouse sitting at the top of the stairs. He got the broom from the kitchen and THWAP! Handled the mouse problem.

Well... somehow my aunt had bought herself a pet hamster (as a 10-year-old in the 70s) and secretly kept it in a shoe box in her closet. Well one day it got loose and while my aunt, my mom and their siblings weren't home.

Unfortunately for my aunt, she connected the dots about her "missing" hamster when my grandfather showed them the "mouse" he killed earlier.

Never told my grandfather the truth about his mouse.

My cats found my sister hamster one afternoon. He liked to escape his cage. They didn't eat him, but he was soaking wet. I don't know if they were tenderizing him or cleaning him to this day😂🤣. You would see that little fucker walk across the floor sometimes or out of the hole in my subwoofer 😑😂

This reminds me of a very unfortunate situation one Halloween night when a friend’s kid was yelled at for wearing blackface. The white parents were taking their kid out dressed as George Washington Carver (go figure). But the family was new to the area so the lady who answered the door only saw the parents at the curb and glanced at the child, but didn’t know that this boy was adopted and assumed it was a white boy wearing blackface
