Yet you keep going back there. You’re mildly infuriating.

Hairstylist/barber is definitely a job that works for tips. I tip 20%, same as I give my waitress.

Probably not. At least not for a full refund. OP, if the only problem is the seat, you can buy a larger seat, sure it'll look goofy on a BMX bike, but if they won't accept your return it sure beats being out the money.

It's a decent tip. Especially considering the poor haircuts he's had.
My barber is from Puerto Rico, charges $25, and you get: hair, beard trim and/or shave, eyebrows and even your ears. It takes minimum 30 minutes but he goes over your hair about 10 times, when you leave there's never a stray long hair. I tip him $10. If I call for an appointment I always get in. Gotta pay the good ones

Are you sure they'll even let you return it now it's used?!

It seems ridiculous to me that she was offended by a 25% tip too… that sounds like a lot to me, for a tip

Sounds like she may have been high. Perhaps a growing drug habit? New barber time for sure. Move on. Convenience not worth it here.

Same. Mine also makes me a cup of coffee while I'm waiting

Sweating you over a $5 tip and you still went back? You brought this upon yourself. I've been in an eerily similar situation, time to find another barber shop.

Give your sister the middle finger. If she doesn't care to review your circumstances, then you should not care about hers
From my point of view, watching someone's house and dependants is not a reward. They can take their pets into their vacation and leave the plants at the mercy of God.
If she doesn't care to view you as an adult capable of taking relevant decisions if need be, then she should not burden you with adult responsibilities. She wants to choose her cake and eat it too.

Maybe time for a new oven instead. I got one of those countertop ovens instead cause the stovetop ones always break, I'm surprised your Hotpoint's even working still. They really don't make em like they used to.
And I know how annoying that update pop up is, used to have an A52 for a while.

It's a white enameled Hotpoint built in 1988. You're not going to get much more out of it.

My oven is quite literally older than me. It's one of those old Hotpoints from the 80s

I already have a new phone. This one isn't even activated and is a backup for emergencies, timers, emails, etc when my actual working phone is charging. Which it wasn't when this happened. I just couldn't find the thing.

Hey, you can find kitchen timers, starting at $4.99! It doesn't have software updates and just counts away to zero.
That way you can save $200 - 800 for actual food instead of the cost of a 5G, wifi6e, amoled screen android kitchen timer.

Since the unholy invention of flesh coloured leggings, it's an easy mistake to make tbf. It's not really your fault either if you have bad eyesight too on top of it. I'm pretty short sighted, and I myself find that I double take because the amount of time I've seen people (inc stylish guys) wearing flesh coloured pants, thinking for a split second they wasn't wearing any 😂

My barber costs 25€ and I always tip 5€. Because he is a legend who fixes every detail, it takes him at least 30-45 minutes every time. And I moved 2 times since I went going there. Takes me 45min to 1 hour to get there. Barber loyalty is important. Lol

It could be worse. You could've asked her when her baby is due. That's the worst, so it's best to never ever mention that unless you're told a women is pregnant. Some people just carry more weight there.

You should have apologised and explained that you weren't wearing your glasses...
