YOu dodged bullet mate - there is no fixing that kind of person. Despite what you think you have probably, in the longer term, made life easier for everyone. This has nothing to do with your being man enough to take abuse for the rest of your life - it has everything to do with the fact that a narcissist can't be fixed and will completely fuck everything around them in order to control their environment. They are pathologically insecure and very often extremely cruel.

She sounds so unstable you are, no doubt, physically safer but you need to remain emotionally safe from that type of person.

There's this function built in to your brain, it's called pre-ejit mode, if you use it you can listen to what you are about to say, then decide to say it differently before making a fool of yourself. Try it out some time, works great.

I'm not sure on CC law. I negotiate contracts for a living. A contract can't be legally binding under certain circumstances such as duress (used car salesman refusing to give you back your keys to force you to sign) or if you're not in a right state of mind.

Folks seem to think if you are a therapist you must have your shit together, but often times it's more they are still working on themselves too. Obviously some have it together more than others, but at the end of the day they are more like the rest of us than we realize. Been to enough throughout my life to figure that out.
