Hm. That sounds so much worse.

My parents weren't nearly so bad, but I ended up daydreaming about moving back to Italy and just not talking to anyone in my family again until they'd passed.

Still kind of taking solace in the "knowledge" that one of me did that in some alternate timeline/universe thing...

It's kind of funny because trying to control other people drives us bonkers. So her continued failure to give You the autonomy You deserve is part of what keeps her stressed out and freaking out. It's a vicious tricycle!

Not ha ha funny. But a life lesson not learned yet funny.

That's awesome! Thanks for sharing. Tbh my mind tends to worry a lot. Even though we talk a lot I always worry she doesn't like me or is avoiding me when she just doesn't always respond right away. I mean she has already told me she doesn't find me annoying and enjoys chatting and even says things that sometimes continues a conversation but that doesn't always stop my worrying. Even though now probably isn't the best time to say something and try to start a relationship it helps to hear people's stories so thank you.

Not prom, but I had a good female friend I had a very strong thing for who was going through some tough times and we casually discussed the “dating scene.” She ended up basically admitting her interest in me and in shock I walked away.

This was very nearly an r/tifu but some very quick emails and IM’s (pre Facebook days) and I explained how I felt.

16 years later she’s lying sick upstairs from something the kids brought home from school.

Lmboo I don, I don't hate her; plus, we have more butter knives than any other utensils. I want to use the screwdriver because I have a bad cut on one of my thumbs and a lot of minor cuts from my exgama on my dominant hand (I don't pick them. It's just dry, and it will snow tonight)

I used to use pointy knives to do this when I was younger, but the work wasn't also good, and I would need to go over it.

First of all I misread the link as freeporn so I went oooh alright let's have a look.

Then I realised, and went oh fair enough, not a bad mindset really and decided to have a look at the threads and spent 10 minutes laughing my ass off because everyone, bless them, is being encouraging because... of how hard it is.

It's 100% a scam, just change cc details and ignore it, it will go away.

Also, it's a private company in another country, even if it were "legal" in any measure, that would only be in their country, and they'd have basically no means to do anything to you anyway.

I think the internet has broken my faith in humanity - because there would absolutely be people going out of their way to sniff up farts if they could see them.

Like hot girl farts in the mall and creepy old guy hobbles over to the cloud for a deep inhale.

Not to mention the stupid TikTok videos that would exist where people have color blend challenges and stuff.
