I was actually a little worried about something like an occult cancer (fortunately nothing obvious on imaging). From a force perspective it's not actually that difficult from a pounds/square inch perspective. She weighs ~180 lbs and I threw her ~4 feet or so onto the bed with the vast majority of that force being transmitted through the heel of my palms. I'm also a relatively strong guy (can bench ~300lbs or plus force generated through my legs for the extra oomph).

She will probably have friends in her new school to be honest, lets be real this guy needs to chill he's known her for a hot second and it's literally high school lol. Like you said, public transportation exists but it's just not worth it for this fleeting acquantance, honestly the dude is already building a future with her after one lunch, it's a bit creepy.

Something's not right with that. It takes roughly 1500lbs shock force to break a healthy person's ribs, and I seriously doubt you could apply that much force throwing her if you specifically tried. Does she have a calcium deficiency, vitamin K deficiency, or a bone disorder?

Edit: wow, love that people are downvoting this. I guess that's what I get for suggesting some possible health factors that could explain this injury that probably should not have happened, instead of making a low-hanging fruit joke or a meaningless comment amounting to 'ooh, ah' like most of the comments that got upvoted. You go, Reddit.

Germany has some great university programs - it's not out of the question for OP to study in Germany and increase the chances of getting together with "cute German lady" - Plus get some great experiences!

(I only did one semester in Germany - but - I am quite fond of that experience)

Trust me, the housekeepers at ANY colleges are very, very, very used to finding throw up anywhere and everywhere. At least you were already in the bathroom! :) if you feel really bad, you can chat with them about it and apologize. Otherwise, just try to forget about it. You’re fine and they aren’t going to hate you or anything.

Shit like this is going happen in life.

Go for that lunch and make the best of it. Be honest that you enjoyed talking to her and it's unfortunate you didn't have more time.

Don't let your shitty feelings ruin her day.

It's not necessarily over, get her Facebook her number whatever. Keep it fun and accept what is happening.

You university probably has a free legal clinic for students. I would suggest you check them out and get advice on the situation (as in if you can somehow get the money back by suing or involving police). I know you probably don't want to legally go after your parents, but it's good to know all of your options. And you can always try threatening them with suing/police involvement without actually following through. Just the threat might get them to take it seriously that they stole from you.

Good that you take control of your own money now. If your parents are big about Christmas presents or something similar a simple "Sorry I couldn't afford presents for you as I was relying on getting the inheritance money back for them." can do Wonders.

Otherwise if you thin all Bridges are already burned then the legal way can be the right one.
