That's good. The first two I had, I was cramping for a month. Bled for at least 3 weeks. Had to do pelvic ultrasounds on already tender parts to verify it was still in place with how bad it was. Third time? I asked to have it placed in the OR. Knocked my butt out with Ketamine and I had zero pain and bleeding. Magical. Going to ask to have it done that way again next time (and hopefully last!)

You did the right thing. Like with physical wounds you have to let mental health concerns out in the open air so they don't fester and get worse. Thoughts like this do happen to most people at one point or another, but if it's happening often enough for you to feel the need to tell someone, you should definitely take it seriously.

If you have the option, I very much recommend a therapist. Worst case scenario you stick it out for a bit before deciding it's not for you.

It's possible, but judging by their faces and body language I don't think that was the case. My bf thinks the same thing as me. Because I also mentioned to one of them that after I left the church I've started exploring other religions to learn about them. She didn't seem impressed and told me to "remember my roots", coz she knows I grew up Christian. Which is funny, because I'm Indian, so if we're talking about my roots, wouldn't the religion in question be Hinduism? (This is mostly a joke, I know what she meant)

Luckily now you all have a story for that time you lied about being colorblind for 10 years.

We have a buddy who told us a kid lost an eye playing tag in a barn or barntag as you will. This was the story for like 5 years when he said it was actually on the back of a snow mobile getting dragged in a tube and hit a tree.

These are two very different stories and we all give him shit for it when someone remembers. We occasionally remember frequently and it is very sad that now I no longer think of tag in a barn as the most dangerous game.

I’m a Christian and would not be offended by anything you said. Granted, I am a Christian that has different beliefs than other Christians. Like one being that I don’t think the story of Adam and Eve is historical fact. Same with Sampson and Noah’s Ark. I think Goliath was big for the time but maybe like 7ft no bigger than that. I think God created the sciences to create our universe over millions of years and that evolution is how we got here and that we aren’t the only life in the universe let alone our galaxy. Oh, and the main is that I don’t think being gay is a sin. Two consenting adults that love each other aren’t heathens. Love is kind of the main thing that god preaches lol.
