Hmm. I don't know if anyone catches COVID from COVID-infected people's unfinished beverages being in the fridge, but if you can't do that and don't want to throw it out, hmm. If it's the acidity that hurt your throat, maybe try neutralizing it by adding some baking soda? This will make the lemonade salty, so not do this if you're restricting your sodium intake. If you do, add the baking soda carefully to avoid it fizzing out of control and making a mess.

I could do that actually. However I did get a text from them saying I'd be on the payroll. So I'll have to see how that goes. If they don't deduct tax then i could report it myself. But they better pay the NMW since the money i get will be on record.

I don’t really want to walk. But because I didn’t, not many people knew. The only people I want at graduation would be my partner, brother and sister. But they both live pretty far and my partner and I are going to be celebrating just the two of us. I just regret not making it a big deal and having this happen as a result

Sure I am not telling you to do this. But you can report the income yourself if the place doesn't automatically subtract it if you want to cover your own bases. It's not a crime to do work for cash and it isn't your responsibility to ensure your employer is paying social security for you or anything.

We were okay with telling her off. And we ghosted her, too. I wouldn't ask the server to do that for me. Only if she wanted to scream at the person who ripped her off. As I said, she looked pissed at me, probably thinking I was knowingly involved in the crime. And, yeah, maybe it would have helped to scare her straight. Maybe not. But, she would have been embarrassed as hell.

I still don't really want to take chances. HMRC and IRS may have different rules with this sort of thing and one could be more harsh than the other. From what I heard, someone'ssmoother was caught doing it and was sent to the slammer.
