I find 0.5 and 0.7 pretty interchangable for what I do with them. By choice, though, I use a lead holder, and swap out leads depending on what I am working on.

Now, technical pens? Yeah, it matters a lot for me to have the right tip for the right job. And they stopped making technical pens, so I'm very careful with them.

Mind you, I can't find my damn ink!

breaking the law is fine, betrayal not so much but as long as they didnt get the police involved idk how this will follow you? all it means is no reference for the next job.

A long time ago my roommate that I worked with did this. Not only did he lose his job, I eventually lost mine as well since they assumed I was stealing as well due to association.

You might think it is a victimless crime but sometimes it costs other people their job.

At least you’re remorseful about it.

The problem with stealing or any other crimes for that matter, is its a slippery slope. Like you said, it started fine, but in the process you forgot the sole purpose of you doing that crime : desperation.

There is a proverb in my language which translates to "at first you lie. Then you steal". Basically it means your vices will lead you down a slippery slope.

Im not typing this to make you feel bad though. I sincerely hope you turn over a new leaf. Its never a good thing to steal, and I hope you will not be in that spot ever again.

Just went through the same thing except with string. I was wrapping presents and using colored string as ribbon. I had a pile of ends cut off on the table and noticed it looked a bit spread out suddenly and my cat was running away mischievously. Took him to the vet despite my husband’s protests (he didn’t want a huge vet bill over something I wasn’t sure even happened and wanted to wait and see), got X-rays, then emergency surgery. When they cut open his stomach they found that he had not only eaten the string but a jumbo hair tie as well that it had tangled with to make a huge ticking time bomb. Luckily it was caught before it hit his intestines!

Glad your kitty is alright!!

I don’t see how landlord was in the wrong - They saw a package addressed for OP (the gift from mom) and then another package with the address but no name. It makes complete sense that they’d open that if they own/manage the condo.

The OP didn’t really fuck up either. Anyone has the right to order kinky shit in the mail to their home. The company fucked up by leaving the name off. Next time, perhaps OP could order something like that to the post office for personal pickup.

If the address is their legal address and it doesn’t have a name on it, I could see them opening it. What I think is messed up, is them not saying anything to you about it and waiting for you to ask them about it. What’s even creepier is the wink and the “have fun”. It’s very inappropriate.

You getting a vibrator is nothing to be ashamed about but I can see you not wanting your landlord involved at all with this. What they should have done was sealed it back as best they could. If it still looked opened, left a note apologizing(letting you know they are sorry for unintentionally invading your privacy) and telling you that you don’t have to discuss the matter at all. It was up to them to make it not weird.

Anyway, don’t worry about it now. Vibrators are totally normal. I hope you got a hitachi magic wand. It’s king/queen of all vibrators.
