There's one at Jack White Third Man Records in Nashville. You can make a record for like 20 bucks. I went there last summer. Great fun.

Newt was a late 80’s asshat. Was around to mess with Bill Clinton.

Don't let me catch you having unnatural thoughts about dinosaurs.

For how tall redwood is, it's incredibly light. That's how this works.

Germs are no joke! As a grown ass man, a scrape on my elbow has put me in the hospital for 5 days now.
Without access to modern medicine (and antibiotics in particular) this shit would've killed me!
That is scary, scary stuff.

Huh. My dad has always used this phrase, and I just assumed he'd mangled the original phrase (he has a tendency to do that).
He's in his 70s and from NZ, for the record.

Honda made a concept van that had an electric Motocompo inside the sliding doors on each side. They recharged while in the doors. Open door, slide out scooter, unfold and go.

ok. that's fair. and to be fair to my point, it doesn't sound like you've had long enough history working in small business, which might not be your fault. i think your experience isn't typical.
how many Fed Ex little league baseball fields, or Amazon sponsored local parades do you know of? in my towns, local businesses do a lot for the community. Many people work good jobs and fair pay and hours.
but i don't disagree there are less than stellar examples out there, like everything else. sorry to hear about your story, because small business is so important to the middle class.

There were a lot of these, going back to the 1970s. Mike Jittlov (yes, his name sounds funny) built one and used it in his excellent movie The Wizard of Speed and Time, for instance, which came out in 1988.

This happens in the summer in Orlando. It rises right on the east west expressway though and blind you while you're trying to drive east to work.
