The takeaways were that fear makes you do inhuman or dangerous things. Like when the Highlanders wanted to make the disguised Frenchman get off the boat. Those things have unintended consequences. Those things actually don’t matter at all, sometimes.

That not all heroic acts end in glory. A lot of people die in wars, tragic and mundane deaths. But they're still heroes nonetheless. George was a hero because he risked his life to help his nation's army, despite the circumstances of his death. Peter asked him "Do you know where we're going?" and George simply replies "France." He doesn't realize the severity of the situation, much less that a man traumatized by a near death experience could kill him even if he is on his own side.

The British people came to the aid of their soldiers, but it wasn't all glory and easy. That is the real purpose of the Moonstone's involvement.

Farrier is the other side of this I think. He fully knows the consequences of his actions. Not having enough fuel to return to England might mean his death or capture. But he does it to help his comrades and ultimately his nation. This stark contrast goes to show just how sad yet meaningful George’s death is.

It's funny that you say "Fear PTSD cowards" because the dad addresses George's question of "Is he a coward?" with "He's shell shocked, he's not himself, and might not ever be."

We had heifers and bullocks here. Both referring to young cattle not yet suitable for breeding. The bullocks were sent for slaughter.

A female was then called a 'cow' once she had a calf and deemed suitable for milking.

Those Hereford bulls were so docile. Local farmer had a 'Bull warning' on his field with a public footpath through.

The massive thing merely stayed with his harem and ignored passsers-by. He would sometimes approach for treats and scare people who didn't know him.

There are plenty of bad things you can say about capitalism but when you have state monopolies, captured markets, and lack free trade that's mercantilism.

Edit: do you really believe the overseas private property of a European monarch was practicing capitalism?

Seriously. Same with the whole flushing the toilet is like setting off a poop bomb in your bathroom. But like, if these were ACTUAL problems wouldnt we all be dying of dysentery and the plague?

Just wash your hands before you fingerbang strangers' mouths, and don't...hold your mouth over the toilet bowl when you flush like ur collecting snowflakes and I think we're all gonna just keep living our lives.

Edit: I'm not a doctor. This is speculation. But I just think there are more dangerous sources of disease.

Was a long time ago, I could be mistaken. The females definitely wouldn't produce. I suppose the males probably weren't sterile because the vet had to come around with the beefmaker to castrate them, but the mixed breed steers always yielded good beef.
