Reply to TIL your computer keyboard is 20,589 times dirtier than a toilet seat. The average office keyboard has 3,543,000 colony-forming units (CFU) of bacteria per square inch while your average toilet seat only has 172 CFU per square inch by SappyGilmore
Please define "dirtier". I'm fairly sure that bacteria is on just about everything on earth. I'm made up of several pounds of bacteria right now... and this is not just normal but healthy.
If a toilet seat is covered with e.coli, monkeypox and streptococcus... I'm going to be more concerned about that than how many of them there are. The type of microcritters you are likely dealing with... matters.
Lastly... I don't know anyone who has fallen ill from using a keyboard. Or for going to the toilet, for that matter. Unless you are immune-compromised, and you don't engage in basic hygiene... you are probably going to be fine.

Blood doesn’t usually goes from one twin to another. It would have to go through the mother.

The funniest part is that without context you could be talking about almost any country. USA would be pretty high on the list of guesses.

One guy built himself a "refrigerator," and kept opening the door hoping to find beer inside.

We had a C-level executive who wanted our site to be as feature-rich as Amazon because they're the leader in e-commerce.
He wanted us to disregard actual customer requests to insert Amazon's features into our e-comm platform.
Umm, our product is niched down. We will never have "Earth's biggest selection" or whatever. Our store customers don't want anything distracting users from placing items in the cart and checking out.

Life is a pattern of persisting. Persisting is directly improved by having a more accurate model of one's surroundings. An accurate model of the environment is developed by developing and improving patterns.
It's the reason we're alive today, and why we've developed intelligence.

Ah yes something that definitely is only a big problem in China. It's definitely not a problem in other countries with rich and storied histories. Definitely not something the British did in their conquests around the world. Or the Spanish. Definitely not something done all over the middle east. Also definitely not something that has happened all over the US and Canada. Ignore all the ancient stuff in private collections all over the US and Europe surely that was all donated or acquired through proper channels. Also ignore museums all over England full of relics from other countries. Yep only the Chinese are looting nobody else!

A lifetime of things outside of my control going against me has certainly help mold me into an exceptionally cautious, risk averse person. No doubt.

So you're saying there's yet another popular expression that's been completely misused by culture at large? Those bitcoin ads with Matt Damon now seem to track appropriately...
