I had no idea that was a thing there! Embryo transfer is like....never mentioned among US cattle farmers.

Honestly there is a lot about UK husbandry practices I really admire. I watch a cattle farrier who trims whole dairy herds and treats various diseases of the hoof. Here, Farmer Joe just sells the cow with poorly feet and gets a cow with better feet.

Here in the UK my theory is the unhealthy connection between politics and media.

The newspapers, to back up the government position, convinced a generation it was evil. That generation still votes, so being "tough on drugs" is a vote winning position. πŸ€·πŸ½β€β™‚οΈ

I was making a play for empathy. I don't think you should suffer from the sins of your countries past, but I was hoping that would realise how stupid that is in concept if you thought about what it would be like for you.
