I worked at a start-up. Dozens of people in a large dark room. Months went by using the assigned computer they gave me. The lights were turned on for the first time and the fucking filth that was on there. Stains all over it. The previous person that sat there ate a sandwich and a large piece of bread had been stuck under the space bar.
I found a new one in storage and lysol the fuck out of it.

Reply to comment by doctor-rumack in TIL Tom Brady was drafted by the Montreal Expos baseball team while still in high school, but instead chose to play football in college. This technically makes him the last player drafted by the Expos still playing professional sports. by _Abe_Froman_SKOC
Belichick got a second rounder for garoppolo, so he extracted the same value for the player that he used by initially drafting him. Could he have gotten more? Maybe, but it’s not like they got nothing. Also the narrative with Brady and jimmy g is completely overblown. All 3 of Brady, jimmy g and brissett still talk from time to time. Brady doesn’t hate jimmy g and never did

No, I only found out about it a couple of weeks ago despite it being published in 2011.

Reply to comment by shingofan in TIL tomb raiding is a big problem in China that looters sometimes find historically significant sites first. For instance the tomb of the famed 3 Kingdoms-era general, Cao Cao, was discovered in 2008 after police inspected the stolen goods of a bunch of robbers, who then led them to an unknown tomb. by Khysamgathys
I mean, accurate. To the point the Sima family deposed the Cao family and started the Jin dynasty, right? Who says you don’t learn anything from video games. I spent hours combing through the encyclopedia of Dynasty Warriors and Romance of the three kingdoms.

He plays in the most qb friendly offense in the league. Everything is set up for Purdy to succeed there. He was bad against the eagles before he got hurt

Maybe but where's the evidence??
Remember, science doesn't LOOK for coincidences.

The buccaneers have not said they don’t intend to re-sign him. There have been reports either way about Brady leaving or staying but nothing definitive

Stanley Jordan's Macintosh startup sound was so much more soulful.

Wash hands before using it, don't eat or snack while working. Does wonders.

That article says that bacteria may be the source of nucleation to form rain, absolutely nothing about whether a rain dance and kick ground-born bacteria/particles the needed 6,500 feet (1.2 miles) into the air to interact with rain clouds.

Archaeoastronomy exists... It is well known the use of architechtonic edifications to mark positions in sky and time, like the "group E" in Mayan sites.

Seen Frip twice with King Crimson. He plays his guitar sitting down, facing away from the crowd, at the back of the stage.

Oh, I've seen the clinical videos of patients succumbing to it and it looked every bit as bad as I imagined it would be. The fact that a virus like that exists is just horribly disturbing.

This article is annoying as it gets some facts wrong but is overall right but it's right for the wrong reasons 😂
