Reply to TIL cashews are actually seeds that grow hanging beneath cashew apples, which are pear-shaped edible fruits that belong to the cashew tree by Arena-1
Well it would be weird if the fruit belonged to some other tree and it was growing in a cashew tree

I scrolled way too far to find this reference

I get full body hives if I eat cashews. It’s my main allergy, with green peas being a mild nuisance.

Here's an even better bit - cashews are closely related to poison ivy and, if improperly cleaned cashews are consumed, you can come down with what is essentially an internal poison ivy-like condition.
Source - been there, done that.

Well, to be fair, if news sites can’t have unpaid interns and freelancers working for pennies type up corporate press releases with zero research and add a few sentences of forced commentary, they’ll never be able to churn out enough content to get enough clicks for a good number of people to stumble on one of their affiliate links.

Not one comment about the movie scene depicted? No one, really? When Harry Met Sally

My personal 6-word-story is "He knelt, she gasped, sprinters start."

No it wouldn't.
The use of the aggressive JBIG2 setting was not default. You had to change it yourself on the MFD's interface, where there was a warning saying that this setting could cause character substitution errors.

I audibly chuckled reading that first one. It's real poetry after reading all the run-on sentences.

My Dad used to tell me this one. His version was a bit more dramatic. It was a dark and stormy night, the wind blew and blew. The waves crashed against the boat, the mast creaked, the candle flickered and the captain said “aye mate, tell me a story” and the mate began. It was a dark and stormy night….

This isn't limited to Xerox. Lots of scanning recognition devices/programs have trouble differentiating 6s and 8s in some fonts when trying to convert images to text fields, and occasionally other numbers get mixed up as well.

While millions of people were starving, the king lived in luxury. Meanwhile, on a small farm in Kansas, a boy was growing up.
