He has a Patreon and they get the vids first and YT must pay him I assume, plus merch. I'm glad he's making something for what he does. And it's so satisfying.

Here is Körberg from the studio recording session of the Chess song "Anthem": https://youtu.be/DWLlB41GlvU
Quite incredible.

Chess had a troubled production, they made major changes to it several times and it still is pretty crap. A few good songs, the book itself doesn’t work on any level.

Reply to TIL the phrase “you can’t handle the truth” was created/ improvised by Jack Nicholson. The movie's original screenplay boasted the line "You already have the truth," which Nicholson trimmed to "You can't handle the truth." by SixedSigma
The movie is based on a play. In the play that character says “Because you can’t handle the truth.”

Reminds me of how blackbean and burrawang seeds used to be a staple food along the east coast of Australia, despite the fact that when improperly processed they're loaded with neurotoxins.

I'm a big fan of post10 on Youtube. He just goes around clearing culverts around the US and often deals with beaver dams, though he does admit they are beneficial to the ecoysystem, they just can't block culverts because they cause floods on roads.

Everybody are talking about One Night In Bangkok, but I would take the chance to highlight Chess' ballad song "I Know Him so Well" (Elaine Page, Barbara Dickson). That song is super great!

The end scene originally had a plane flying through a city but they changed it after 9/11.

Love Raul Esparza’s version of One Night in Bangkok. Will never see him in Law and Order quite the same way.

Sure would be nice if we could evolve into a keystone species.

I've played this musical twice, really love it. Especially the ballet of the chess pieces...good theater! Written by ABBA!
