50,000€ per second is an impressive rate. (In reality, the whole production process likely took quite a bit longer.)

guess it takes a lot of talent and even more dedication to write a book in English without “e”

"He had come to know beaver for what they truly were—engineers, family-oriented home builders. He'd read that most of the cities in Europe were founded by beaver. That beaver had first felled the trees along the rivers and dammed them up. The rising water killed more
trees and when the food was gone and the beaver had no more bark to chew they left. The dams eventually broke apart, and the water drained and left large clearings along the rivers where the beaver had cut down all the trees. Early man came along and started cities where the clearings lay. Cities like London and Paris were founded and settled first by beaver." Excerpt from Brian's Return by Gary Paulsen
I remember reading this book and thinking that this was the coolest thing.

As any can see by these graphs, it's become 8-10 times more likely over the last 15-20 yrs.

PS, a hat will not do any good. Course the weirdos will start wearing hard hats, with foil coverings. grin.

It was a meteor when it hit her. When it hit the floor, it became a meteorite.
Bein hit in space it's always a meteor.

They're not owned by Disney. OP was specifically saying that the studio that made Lilo & Stitch was the last studio Disney had that was doing hand drawn animation.

Shame there's a letter e right there in the thumbnail. You'd think the publishers could've gone the extra mile

It had to compete with Lord of the Rings and another blockbuster hit that I'm forgetting, on opening weekend.

While the story of Häyhä's diary being found is well-known and publicized in Finland I think it is interesting also that no English news outlet has picked up the news during the years.
The diary can nowadays be read for free online. As it has been translated, visualized and contextualized to make it more understandable for non-Finnish readers.

Yeah, all those species that die when they have access to fresh water in areas they otherwise wouldn't sure would have a bone to pick with beavers.

I recently discovered Wolfwalkers - beautiful and really fun film! The plot and some of the scenes did remind me very strongly of Princess Mononoke though. Song of the Sea is my favourite animation film.
