I think around 10% of those showed up in my mailbox.
Kidding aside, there were people who actually collected those CDs like baseball cards or coins.

This is going to be a shocker to you, but you don't have to be a condescending asshat. It's not like the guy was on tour and seen in public every damn day

. . . . And two-tenths of one percent of CD's actually used.

Unsure about ligers, but some female tygons (reverse parentage from ligers) have in fact been fertile.

"Big cat" means members of the genus Panthera. Specifically: Tigers, Lions, Leopards, Jaguars, and Snow Leopards (and I guess for the purposes of this discussion mixes of those).

I have a hard time believing that orcas don't know what their attacking as smart as they are. Like they couldn't tell the difference between a giant moose and a sea lion...

Yep, it puts them into this weird trance and they eventually suffocate.

And the poor kitties get horrible health problems as a result. Breeding ligers is cruel.

Reply to TIL The Lockheed SR-71 Blackbird used an Astro-inertial Navigation System to track Stars and determine its position and altitude. At Mach 3, the navigation system was accurate enough to limit drift to 1,000 feet (300 meters) off course. by shamelessterminator
If you’re interested in reading a fantastic history of the SR-71, Area 51 and the Skunk Works, check out the book “Skunk Works” by the late Ben Rich, who took over for Kelly Johnson as head of Lockheed’s advanced development division.
In the book, he said the system was so sensitive it would lock onto bolts on the hangar roof, thinking they were stars.

Even if they only made one new subscription out of 100, they probably made a lot of money, especially when you factor in how hard it was to cancel an AOL subscription once you had one.
It was harder to cancel than Columbia House Records and Tapes.
