God damn, must have been a very slow six months for the local brothels. This guy was a fucking monster class sex machine. When he died escorts and prostitutes came to his funeral. He even slept with his son's wife and his son literally gave the comment that he couldn't blame his wife for it.

I prefer the line George Burns gave when playing God in “Oh, God!”
John Denver: Haven’t you ever made any mistakes?
George/God: Avocados.
JD: Avocados?
G: They’re a perfect fruit, but I made the pits too big.

How does that work though? Like how do plants know who's eating them? Like is there a by-eonly communication that goes out? Are avocadoes currently aware of this and are they in process of getting smaller? Are the seeds in communication and like "hey guys, were not getting eaten and pooped by big guys any more, so we need to downsize a bit" 🤔

Reply to comment by BrokenEye3 in TIL about Saint Josaphat (aka Būdhasaf), a legendary Christian saint whose life is based on Gautama Buddha, the founder of Buddhism. His life story tells of how Josaphat, a son of an Indian kind that persecuted the Christian Church in his kingdom, converted to Christianity. by kweenllama
Uhh, it seems fairly clear to historians, especially given the etymology of his name, that it was not accidental in the least.

I once read big cats over the past millions of years go extinct because they get too big, need more food, then struggle to adapt to ecological changes. I wonder if lions are more successful because of this gene and the reason for it to stick around

Hmm, I see nowhere that the use of grenades, shotguns or katanas would be prohibited, so I guess that's a sport for me.
