Oh, God, what a guy-heh, a big guy, really. Obviously way bigger than me, y-you bet, but hey, that's uh, that's just how it happens. Nice uh, face-uh, I mean, facial features going on, you know? Very handsome fellow, yeah. Probably maybe, uh, maybe better-almost as good as I am. Yeah, probably, you know somebody, needs to do a DNA testing, uh, test thing, you know, th-those things they do nowadays in forensic crime shows? See 'em all the time, in my free time, whenever I'm not-uh, signing loads of papers for things here and, uh, there. Yeah, it's, uh, a real-uh, a really great thing, lemme tell you something, and listen up, 'cuz it's a, it's gonna be a real good one, you won't believe it...

Reply to TIL about the Köln Concert, a 1974 piano recital by Keith Jarrett. The venue’s piano was smaller than specified, was out of tune, and had malfunctioning pedals, forcing Jarrett to improvise around its shortcomings. The concert recording is the best-selling solo jazz and best-selling piano album. by EtOHMartini
Amazing story. Not everyone is Keith Jarrett, but every musician can learn from this. Some people will freak out over the tiniest details like a single guitar pedal not working, but in all likelihood it doesn't matter to the audience at all.

After being quartered they would often send the body parts to different locations for viewing to remind others what can happen when you fuck around.

It was meant to be torturous. It was a traitor's death, after all.
None of the previous actions would result in immediate death, so they'd be awake and screaming the whole time, as the watching crowd bayed for their blood.

Hey at least they put in the work to recreate something with that Roland MC-505, instead of just using preset loops like they did in the Mars date episode.

The way the Wikipedia page reads, it seems like they were drawn first the hanged. 😬

It's now illegal again in some states, if you're "dancing" (wide open for interpretation as to what counts as dancing) in front of children. (Edit: To cover all bases, technically they may not be illegal yet but there are proposals out there, which I've linked further down, some of which have passed the first steps to becoming law)
Our laws are properly fucked in this country.

That would be twisted in a nice way playing the role of the co-creator who created the role he played jn - would actually sort of fit the metaverse they are narrating as well haha
