I love picking up the $.74 soda from the food court, then going around and enjoying all the samples. Cheap lunch!

$5k is the low end now. It’s ‘wearable art’ and it has gotten so out of hand…
Some of us just want a $4000 paper bag to fuck in.

If they refuse to recognize it, then they are free to meet me on the list and settle this like men of honor.

Except it's not legally recognized in Canada unless issued by the Canadian Heraldic Authority (CHA) or equivalent governmental body from another country.
A coat of arms is considered part of the Canadian Honours system, so you have to meet a threshold of worthy contributions to Canada as well. You can't just send a cheque and expect to get a coat of arms.

There's also a place where you can submit your name to take in retired Canadian flags flown at parliament.
I'm on the list and I'm expecting mine in something like 120 years.

The plane was also carrying U2's Bono when police, suspecting it was being used to smuggle drugs, began shooting. The plane (and its bullet holes) is now displayed at Buffett's Margaritaville. by theotherbogart
"Stop shooting, that plane isn't smuggling drugs, it is smuggling Bono!"
Switch to full auto, give it everything you've got. I'll get on the radio and call in artillery!

I was on Accutane for 6 months. It dries your face out to the point where little bits of your face come off. Someone called me the ugliest person they had ever seen during that time. I could see how you would want to kill yourself regardless of any effect on brain chemistry. Six months later, at 16 years old, I’m making out with the hottest girl of this new group my friends met in a closet at a party. My face completely cleared up. I had pretty bad acne and Accutane changed the trajectory of my high school life. I’m glad that it existed when I was in high school, despite the side effects.

I’ve lived in the Great Lakes region my entire life, and pretty much everyone I’ve talked to believes that it’s due to the color of the sky. It’s not a frequent conversation, though.
