friedkin liked to do that a lot. in french connection the police mechanic who tore the drop car apart was the actual guy who did that for the NYPD.

The USA had laws allowing it to strip the citizenship of US women marrying with foreigner then ineligible to US naturalization (i.e. non-Whites and non-Blacks, including Asians).

Hands down the best root beer brand out of all of them. Everything else sucks by comparison. Mug and A&W can't hold a candle to barqs

The Chinese also had trouble finding work as employees, so many opened restaurants, etc.

Growing up (in south MS) they offered Red Crème Soda (pink label) and Vanilla Crème Soda (gold label) versions. They were sweet as all get out, but as a kid I loved them.
