It's a burial practice. There was a period in Ancient China where people would chuck all the deceased belongings into a huge grave with them. Different periods/cultures had random (spiritual) reasons for making time capsules of wildly different qualities.

Oh I have, but I’ve also been a part of conversations where a troll tries to turn a discussion into a flamewar by changing the subject and cherry picking data. The easiest way to close them down is to pull them back to the original topic which they weren’t really interested in. They soon get bored and look for someone else to troll.

It could be a shaman, who got a’hold of the wrong medicine, and told him to get in the tree and play a caveman…

There is something strangely melancholic about this. I can't help but imagine this person playing in front of a fire, their friends and loved ones sitting, eating and speaking their alien tongue.
They would never have imagined their instrument would survive them so long, a 60000 years old legacy.
Rest well, music man.

All CA state workers experienced a furlough of about 10% during Covid. We never saw that money back even after the large surplus.

Not that impressive. I'm up to about 19 gallons and she has 30 years on me. Where I used to donate there were a lot of ex-military people which let them donate every 4 weeks instead of every 8 weeks and the Red Cross would have printouts of the high donors and many were over 40 gallons.

What's ironic is that a treatment for iron being too high is to draw blood!

In the film clip a band member was sitting on the branch of an old gum tree while playing the kookaburra tune on his flutes. Kind of drawing attention to what they were doing.
