i dont think white supremacists of the era would have agreed with that tbh

Reply to comment by temporarysecretary17 in TIL that Walt Disney World began as "The Florida Project". Dummy corporations were used, by Walt Disney Productions, to buy up 27,000 acres of land to avoid bursts of land speculation in the Orlando area. Early rumors assumed possible development by NASA, Ford, the Rockefellers, and Howard Hughes. by jdward01
I've been (only somewhat jokingly) saying this for years. The last few times I went to Disney, I felt like a damned sardine. It wasn't fun. They need to build identical parks adjacent to each other. If your ticket number is odd you go to WDW1. If it's even you go to WDW2. Of course, Disney is making insane profits without having to do this, so there's not real impetus for it unless people stop going due to said sardine-ity killing the fun.

Wasn’t he dating Tobi Vail? She was only 2 years younger than him

Yes, comparing modern day ethics to older eras where racism wasn't even a conscious factor is stupid.

That's also not true. The Dutch arose as an independent nation in the 1600s and share a lot of history with the low Germans. Even today groups like the Frisians have arguably more in common with Germans such as the Hanoverians than the Hanoverians have with Bavarians. They were different than other Germans but not significantly moreso than other difference within what we now call the German people.
A quick look at wikipedia also shows they came from all over Germany and parts of the Netherlands https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pennsylvania_Dutch

Oh stop it. You're talking about a time when the vast majority of people in the UK hadn't even seen a black person. There was no racial element whatsover, it was 100% class.
