I know at least in the US some Korea/Vietnam vets managed to sneak weapons home and hide them in caches, some of which have never been found. I find it very hard to believe that the Soviet’s didn’t do the same, especially considering how much USSR equipment has been popping up in ukraine

My grandpa was shot multiple times in the Korean War and whe he passed, it was a result of one of his stitches coming undone after all those years and he asphyxiated on his blood. Ruled homicide, my grandma got more benefits

Also because it's usually only children that are dumb enough to eat paint.

It was built in 2002 in response to years of delays building the Interstate 189 bypass into downtown Burlington by IAmDavidGurney
The barge canal area on Pine Street is a Superfund site. It had remediation stuff done, has restrictions on use and so on. It's not in the way of the current parkway plan.

Despite what you say, there is an area (around the south east of the country) that's considered the bible belt of Poland.
It's partly because in most big cities, dropping religion is a growing trend, but that area of Poland doesn't have big cities, rather smaller cities, towns and villages. They're more likely to base their community around the church.

Major respect to your dad for being there and helping out. I hope he is - and continues to be - in good health.

A life for a life is fair in any situation. You kill someone you should lose yours in turn. People forgiving murderers is a joke.

The perspective is incredible. By the turn of the century, she was already 90+ years old and experienced a ton of cultural revolutions and turnover. She was so old that many people born after her had already lived and died. Incredible

I grew up in Anaheim. Being near a theme park or sports stadium sounds lucrative but it doesn’t always pay off if one lives near those “amenities”. Traffic and crowds rarely help the people living in neighborhoods near traffic and crowds.
