Is anyone else sick of goodwills bullshit? Their business model is taking stuff from me for free and selling it for a profit under the guise of helping the community and giving disabled folks a job….and yet the two local ones won’t take my stuff? And from what I’m reading they don’t help the community and they under pay their disabled workers (which Is why they’re too understaffed to accept donations) Awesome.
So here’s an idea that just spawned from me asking my local Facebook for their best recommendations to avoid goodwill: post below your LOCAL charities/businesses/community centers/granges that accept donations in lieu of supporting goodwills BS.
