I did a trial and had zero service most places in rural-ish central vermont with an iphone se2.

Red pocket and verizon prepaid (the nvmos i've used) worked much better - but since then i've switched to verizon postpaid. I decided that meets my needs better despite being 3x the price. Though AT&T may get slightly better service where I live.

Unless it was at a light and you were directly opposite then for a time, cops looking at the windshield then the rear plate on every car without a front plate would be outrageously difficult while driving, and dangerous frankly as they would be taking focus off the road.

But the method isn’t 100% it’s just better than having a bad sticker, and works majority of the time. It’s all about it working often enough to pay for the ticket. My truck needs ~400 in cosmetic parts that are classified safety (cracked lights that still work) add in $60 for the inspection, I could get 3 tickets and still be under the cost to fix. I’ve gone 2 years without a ticket on my 2019 inspection, so I’ve saved $120 for the inspection and 400 on the fix. If I got the $160 or whatever ticket tomorrow I’m still net 360 positive. I can keep that trend of being positive going till it’s time to trade in, and get a car with a new sticker from the dealer.

Wild turkeys. I know, it seems ridiculous, but there's nothing quite like seeing a giant stupid looking used to be a dinosaur meandering around your back lawn. They make me laugh every time.

Also a big fan of the spiders we've got here. None are medically significant and some of them (jumping spiders in particular) are very cute.

Folks have been moving to Vermont for years (especially lately) because of the quality of life and the improvements over the places they moved from. THEN you get the “you know what this place needs” ideas and slowly the state is becoming the places people were trying to escape in the first place. Why move to a place just to change it?

To the commenters that are saying "Let's Go", and think it's funny.....it isn't.

Though I do like the sound of saying "Let's Go Brandon, Vermont!, and make it a nice rally about how great the town is." It sounds....better?

On second thought, I've never visited Brandon, VT; I should do something about that.
