I called Dorset Street a month ago and they were not taking new patients. I ended up with Four Seasons. I haven’t had my appointment yet so I can’t speak to how they are but the scheduler was super nice.

Do yourself a favor, look at power consumption of your house. These “electric backups” are normally 100ish ah at 12v or 1200watt total. Your refrigerator uses that in a couple hours. Then what?

If you look at off grid systems, they are 10-20x the capacity of these little portable power packs, and have 1500-5000w solar arrays to replenish them.

At the VERY Cheapest using old school SLA batteries to power a house for a day your looking at $1200 in batteries, some complex wiring, and a weight of 1000lb. Add to that chargers and stuff as batteries do not stay charged they must be maintained it’s just a bad idea.

Get a gas generator, 4 stroke. Get an electrician to install it. Grab 4 or 5 Jerry cans, and call it a day. It will be more reliable, cheaper, and not dependent on the sun to replenish it which generally when the power is out is t reliably uncovered.

I've been going to Four Seasons for my skin checks - next one week after next. I'm happy enough with the care I'm getting, but I'm also not any sort of special case, just preventive checks. I did go in a few years ago with an actinic keratosis and they took care of it for me.

Noone is installing these batteries outdoors.

Yeah, I went with solar but no battery as the return just didn't appear to be there.

I usally see Leah Villemaire. She a physician's assistant. I the first time a saw her a had a eczema break out over 80% of my body. The itch was so bad I had scratched three moles off my arms and had scratched gouges into my skin. I know scratching makes it worse but it itched so bad. She never lectured me (my primary did) and was really understanding and sympathetic

One of my favorite things (when I lived in town) was reading the Stowe police blotter. So funny. And this was wayyyy before I had Reddit. My favorite was (not quoting it… a long time ago)

Also people will call into the police for random shit. This lady at the restaurant asked if we had found her sunglasses and we said “ok were you in earlier today? We might have them!” She said “no can you check the floor? We were here three days ago” I wouldn’t be surprised if this lady called Stowe PD about sunglasses she was missing three days ago.

I have had good experiences at both Four Seasons and Dorset Street Dermatology. Dorset Street also has a Med spa and I have had great interactions with Laurie who is one of the estheticians.

Who do you see there? I've been there and this was one of my bad interactions, I'd be willing to switch Drs there though

I go to four seasons dermatology in colchester. They are always really nice and understanding. I have really bad eczema and they have been a god send.

My neighbors are all armed. No one voted for Trump.
