Yeah i see bald eagles fairly regularly In the Colchester/Burlington area the last few years. Must be a nest somewhere in the area.
Got this picture on north avenue a couple years ago

Yeah, let's not ignore the fact that almost EVERY form of competition at every level has elements of "offensive language" and racism. Often times the person trash talking is just going for the most offensive word/phrase of the day to illicit a reaction.
While it's not right and these parents need to be removed, maybe we can put more effort into overcoming these feelings of being offended and how to persevere regardless.
Or we can cancel sporting events, remove spectators, and nerf the world...

I found my latest job and the 5 others I interviewed for before it all in indeed or linkedin. Before that it was all networking with former colleagues. This was all in the engineering field so YMMV.

Harrison is great, if you're in very southwest VT they're hard to beat.

Cant go wrong with either VTFLYCO or Stream & Brook fly fishing. They are both amazing guide services that'll put you on fish. Time of year depends on fish you want to target. Best, safest trout fishing is late spring and during late fall. The rivers can get too hot for safe trout fishing during the warmer months

Brew Moscarello is the best guide I have ever had. I've hired him 3 times over the past several years. He's an amazing teacher, knows his stuff better than anyone I've ever met and is just a pleasant, laid back dude. May-June would be a good time to target the Battenkill and nearby tributaries.

One time we were coming back from somewhere up near Lyndonville on 91 and saw a bald eagle sitting on top of a dead deer

Saw a bald eagle in January of 2021 off the side of Law Island.

Harrison anglers are the best guides I have heard of in vt/ma. They guide the Deerfield, swift, and hoosic in southern vt/western ma. Maybe some other rivers too. Worth checking them out.

If you've heard of the Orvis company, it actually started in Manchester Vermont. They offer tours/guides/clinics and they also have recommendations.

I am super comfortable on the lower mountain - it's the lift ride to the top that has me wigged out :) Hoping some of the 1-3 inches of snow per day in the forecast can stack up a bit, this is just depressing. But yes, in current conditions I'll play at the bottom of the mountain.
After Deer Run ends, which trail would you recommend tying into?

Does your 300k out the door for small and simple (let's say a 1000-1200 square foot rectangle) includes well/septic/excavation/short connection to power?

Does Ken do small homes or just garages? His work looks very nice.

Correct answer, although it's likely to have some icy patches. High meadows pass is the easiest trail on the lower mountain.

Also I’m almost positive there is very little cover on the top of the mountain. Best to stick to the lower lift until we get some significant snow fall.

Awesome, thank you! I'm Ok with kind of steep and wide with no obstacles (like Spring Fling at Sugarbush) but easier is definitely better for now :)

Exactly. If you can read and follow directions you can build a house.
