No spectators allowed but the game is played would send one heck of a message to that community.

It’s a shame what the mail service has become. It used to be a very respectable job. Heck look into banks, I know tellers starting at $21-$26/hr

Pico is the spot I learned to snowboard. It's well laid out and everything leads back to one main area (which is great if you have kids who separate). Large enough to stay entertained all day, small enough to find your way with ease, and slow enough to avoid extreme wait times.

Great sled hill in St Albans, free and fun. About an hour from Stowe I think.

Cochran's I'd say. That's where I learned.

I don’t know of a restaurant near Woodstock/WRJ that ISNT HIRING. Or mechanics or warehouse staff or cleaners or drivers or anyone. Also the hospitals and biotech in Lebanon NH. It’s kind of getting hard to empathize with people claiming there’s no work right now. Maybe the problem is you?

If you're implying because they kill birds as everyone likes to repeat, you should know that every major study on this subject has found that feral cats kill a ton of birds, cats with a home/food do not.

Mountain lion, cougar, catamount, panther, puma are all the same animal.

indeed.com has a fair number of manufacturing jobs listed, some denoted as “urgently hiring” and many as “entry level.” I suspect the money is better at USPS, but it would get you off the road if that’s your issue.

I thought this also, but in fact ticks can survive very harsh winters by being on mammals

I think I speak for everyone in preferring the big kitties to wolves.
Wolves are cool too, but they are way more likely to come into conflict with humans.

Also by the lack of harsh winters that used to kill them off.

You shouldn't let your cats roam outdoors anyway, but that's a discussion for another time. Bring back the big cats!

That you want to pressure the kids to play instead of pressure the administration or fans to solve the problem is telling. We have plenty of those boss-sucking messages in society already today- ‘suck it up’- ‘grind it out’- ‘walk it off.’ You’re really not as invested in their wellness as you think if you’re not doing something to change the equation on the side with more power.
They know their worth and what they shouldn’t have to put up with. Coercing kids to accept less is immoral.
‘Debate,’ by the way, in the common parlance is any conflict of ideas or disagreement. It need not be a formal occasion with a debating society. Living human lives is about persuading others and ‘refusing to play is weakness’ is definitely too Cobra Kai for my taste…

I used to ski at Titus a lot! Currently have a pass to Bolton and love it. Bolton is bigger, but has a very similar vibe. You’ll enjoy it!

Almost every form of competition at every level has elements of offensive language and racism??? Are you kidding me? I've competed in hundreds of races, coached for 20+ years, played competitive golf, racket sports, old man baseball, rec basketball and volleyball, pond hockey. Have heard very little offensive language.
It's not all sports all levels. But being around youth/HS team sports probably the worst spectator behavior I've seen/heard.
