Reply to I just checked with r/birding, and apparently I DID see a Golden Eagle in Fairfield today! by Alex6095
A rather large bird took off in front of me while driving (we scared the shit out of each other) and for about 30 seconds it pumped its wings to clear my truck while I slammed on the breaks. I got a really good look at it - wing span covered the width of my vehicle (easily) and its markings and colorations were not Bald Eagle (mature or immature) and the only bird that it could have been was a Golden Eagle. Since those are so rare, I doubt myself...but I am convinced that 2 mph faster or the bird slightly less masterful at flying, I would have seriously maimed it.
This was in Monkton, off of Tyler Bridge Road and it had been eating near the fire pond.

You ever listen to when they mic NFL players?
I didn't just say sports, I said competition. The amount of racism and trash talking in online gaming is by far the worst.
HS sports are bad because the parents are living their glory days through their child; selfish babies.

While I’m kinda with you, the other dudes plan does have some historical precedent. Since you decided to jump right to hitler, the 1936 olympics are a pretty famous debate the nazi thing you are talking about. Your argument would not have the us or anyone participate and certainly not have Jesse Owens compete.

Yeah, I don't mean acceptable in day to day life. You're not getting what I'm saying and are most concerned with labeling a person as something. Not suprised!

I knew a cat that would collect his kills and pile them next to each other. Some beings just like killing

Actually it does. If you are aware that a phrase is a racial slur but you still believe that it is acceptable to use in day to day life then you are in fact, racist.
A person who values each person individually would say “wow there are millions of other words to use, I will just not use the hateful slur.”

He asked how to go about looking since he hasn’t done a job search in a long time. Not that there are not jobs out there. And he said he needs more regular hours…

There are plenty of well fed cats that like to hunt, but the major thing is their shit.

The 'boomers' are the builders. It's the young idiots who refuse any job that might make them break out in a sweat.

cougars attack and kill humans orders magnitude more than wolves ever have, wolves tend to avoid humans for the most part, if anything, they attack dogs and cats, but so do coyotes generally.
-for the people downvoting me, have you ever actually looked up the statistics? It's far more likely they'll attack each other than another person.
Cougar: >A total of 126 attacks, 27 of which were fatal, have been documented in North America in the past 100 years.
Wolves:
>PAST 100 YEARS; reintroduction in the lower 48 in 1995 Fatal United States (lower 48): 1 (pet wolf) United States (Alaska): 2 (1 predatory, 1 rabid) Canada: 2 (1 predatory, 1 captive) Nonfatal United States (lower 48): 3 (1 brain damaged, 2 captive) United States (Alaska): 7 (3 predatory, 3 rabid, 1 agressive) Canada: 15 (10 predatory, 2 agressive, 1 captive, 1 rabid, 1 provoked)
>EVER RECORDED Fatal United States (lower 48): 14 United States (Alaska): 2 Canada: 5 Nonfatal United States (lower 48): 12 United States (Alaska): 8 Canada: 21 (2 in Arctic Circle)

Ikr but it’s hard to tell when you’re hiking and you see a flash of black in front of you. You know it’s a wild animal, but no idea WHAT the hell it is.

Coyotes cause enough problems, I imagine a pack of wolves would cause similar problems on a larger scale.

If you want to ship glass, get bubble wrap and be generous with it. Then make sure there is no empty space in the box. Fill it with more bubble wrap or lots of newsprint.
You have to think that you're preparing the pages to take a hundred pounds on top of it, because it shipping that will happen.

That's a myth. Tick population is most directly tied to the mouse population.
