Vermont has been very good to me and my family. I came up here after leaving the military in 1981 and never doubted this is where I belong.

Having said that, Vermont is populated by humans. There is nothing uniquely Vermont about Vermonters other then the fact we're from the state of Vermont.

Nope. My point is that if you want more people to listen to what you have to say (especially on something important like making people feel welcome in all parts of their country) you should find language that invites people to action instead of language that turns people off. Then they might listen to what you're saying. Or you could just stand your ground, use the same language and reach a smaller audience. Which will get more results?

How many times do I have to say this, its not the birds that concern me. It's the contaminated water. Ill give you that outdoor cats are pretty far down the list of things that need to change ASAP to keep our waters clean, but its also by far the easiest.

Also, thank you for giving them a loving home. That is more important than anything else, it would just be nice if people would keep a handle on them to avoid contamination of our waters.
