other businesses don't have nearly the same problems that KFC/Taco Bell do, it's universal in New England I've noticed, I've tried to get stuff at 3 different Taco Bells in VT and in NH and they all are horrible. Yet at the same time I can goto another business like Moe's or Wendys or Burger King and get in and out in 10 minutes or less with food no problem, even during busy times.

There's something wrong with the regional Yum! Brands management here that's especially worse when it comes to organizing their stores and workforce.

Looks like from his FB page’s public posts he’s down the Q rabbit hole quite a bit- major influences/offenses include Hunter Biden Laptop, Child Trafficking and Fauci/COVID Conspiracy rumor vectoring. Minor influences include brotheism, Libertarianism, and bootstrap/hustle culture bullshit. (The minors here aren’t deal-breakers standalone but they usually do imply the majors right?)

Mixed bag for sure. I’m not convinced all the abusive fuckers were fired over the past few years, but at least we got the cops out of the schools, (for now anyway) unlike many towns our size/MAGA makeup. Writing the whole town off would be a real time-saver right? That would gloss over the advisory panel efforts and mental health crisis worker on department duty. As observed elsewhere looks like St. A got hamstrung by the state on this one.

Not the best comparison IMO. Yes, WV and VT have mountains and are rural, but I don’t see a lot of similarities beyond that. Sure there are pockets of poverty in VT, but nothing like what you see in most of WV. Way more recent wealth in VT (folks who’s wealthy city parents moved here in the 70s-90s plus the recent Covid surge). Major tourism and strong $ influence from Boston and NYC.

The comparison might have fit 50 years ago with manufacturing and farming running VT’s economy, but it’s been a playground for the affluent for awhile.
