Im not a Vermonter i’m a Quebecer for me it’s out of the can into a glass bottle with sealed cap, I just leave it on the counter next to coffee machine. It’s gonna sit there for no more than a month it’s the only sugar I use. It never went bad even in summer

Its scary to me that there are people out there who have trouble understanding how rcv works. Also, sometimes I really wish there was a civics test you had to pass in order to vote. It upsets me that people who have next to no grasp of the basic principles of government have an equal say as people who have a thorough understanding. But I also want as high a turnout as possible and for everyone to have their voice heard. I guess i really just wish people were better educated regarding politics. Its so fkn important and half our citizens dont even bother voting. And of the half that do, a large portion of them are 3 french fries short of a happy meal, if you will

Maple syrup can grow mold pretty easily, so once it's been opened and exposed to the air, I keep it in the fridge.

It is harder (but not impossible) for mold to survive and grow in cold temperatures, so it'll grow quickly at room temperature in the cupboard, slowly in the fridge, and basically not at all in the freezer. A bottle for me lasts months but not years, so into the fridge it goes!

Now to be fair, that mold isn't toxic, and it's fairly easy to remove by just scraping out what you can, and letting it boil to kill it off and expose the remaining mold spores so you can pick them out. It's just I'd rather not waste my time doing that if I could have just put it in the fridge anyway.

RCV is the only way that third party candidates will ever be able to compete with the 2 major parties as things are currently structured.

Wont change the fact that im NEVER voting Republican again, they lost me when they chose theocracy over democracy.

Waterbury has Thai smile and they have some different dumplings. The food is delicious. There’s also Himalayan D’Lite by Sherpa Foods. I’ve never been to the restaurant but it’s the same company that makes Nepalese dumplings and sells them in the local grocery store in my town.
