Nice data! Ours is 1200 Sq ft house with 18,000 BTU centrally ducted. We are having similar results as you (and have discovered today that the relay on the in-unit electric resistance coil is broken).

Keeping up ok but definitely drooping.

I wish I was milking! Sadly just beef and replacement heifers in the barn. I did breed four heifers to start doing the raw milk thing, but I can’t get on a truck. You’d think Agrimark would take me as I’m 6 miles from the Cabot plant, but nope, they are only growing in NY right now from what I’ve been told.

I missed this comment earlier. Just to clarify (again), I went there because it’s an article talking about the dramatic rise in homelessness in Vermont. I wonder how much of that rise in the homeless population in Vermont is due to people moving in to take advantage of the housing voucher program.

Absolutely. Honestly I don’t blame anybody taking advantage of the program, I blame the program itself. As you said, there is very little oversight on this situation. The hotels are disgusting, there is no requirement that those enrolled in the voucher system is in any program to better themselves, it’s bad for our community, the homeless it’s attempting to help, and a pathetic waste of tax dollars

If you want to see extreme inequity in education look no further than Bennington County. The societal and socioeconomic differences in school choice/non-operating towns vs. towns designated to public school districts is remarkable.

On one end of the spectrum you have places like Bennington and Pownal and to a lesser degree Arlington (stuck with high poverty and a couple substandard public school options), while monied places like Manchester, Dorset, North Bennington, and Winhall get vast choices of private, independent, religious, and public schools. Raise a kid in Winhall and you can use around $17k every year to send them to any school anywhere K-12. Raise a kid in downtown Bennington and you’re stuck with the second and third worst rated elementary schools in the state.

Forget redlining. A system like this works way better to segregate along socioeconomic lines.

I have a Mitsubishi hyper heat. The way I understand it, under -13° it's basically just running the compressor constantly to produce enough heat to defrost the condenser. Not sure if this is accurate or if there's enough temperature difference between the refrigerant and the outside air to pull any heat. Basically, I know nothing.
