One problem is clearing any vents to monitor heaters that may be on a 2nd floor or vents for your plumbing. Vermont's housing stock is very old and with that, there are houses that do not meet today's standards. Also several generations have done diy repairs that aren't up to handling tons of snow. My house is in that category.

Ok. I know very little on this topic. I was assuming my roughly 37 year old boiler was a massive problem. However, it has been very well-maintained, as far as I've gathered. I'm still near the upper end of that 30-40 year time frame, but I figured it probably should have been replaced 10-15 years ago. Must be the curse of modern living - I just didn't think oil boilers were built to last that long. I appreciate the insight.

I've considered getting a pellet or wood stove for supplemental heating. My main concern is ventilation. Did you get one installed that needed a new pipe/chimney installed? I was trying to figure out how much that might cost, on average. I'd also appreciate any suggestions for local installers/suppliers near me (Barre area).

How is this different than making the argument about online universities in general. Why pay for sports, why have gyms, why have food service, etc. I used the library whenever I did research for papers, and not all documents are available online. I feel like you rather than making a critique about libraries specifically your real argument is about the utility of services a college provides and need for said services. IMO, this argument is a fast track to privatization and gatekeeping what otherwise would be considered a public asset.

No! Get out of here with reason! Insufferably outrage without information is needed!

From a couple articles, it would prevent minors from being on public lands with a gun without adult supervison, so yes, that summary from articles would prevent hunting.

That means from the time I was 14-18, I wouldn't have been able to hunt by myself.

I set it up? Fire away.

I didn't say he was right. I wrote that he wasn't fired for that based on an article....nothing to do with him being right. I said he wasn't fired for....what did you say....oh, being white. And to take it further, wasn't fired because of the video.

An ad hominem would be saying you're a dumbass for believing it that without actual proof.

To perform another ad hominem, you're a dumbass if you think that one page document says quotas. I didn't seem to catch racial quotas anywhere there.....almost like it's not breaking the law.

Oh, and is the teachers union the school making the hiring decisions? Oh, they're not? Because the teachers union isn't in charge of UVM....so a union and say things it wants....because it's not the hiring authority? Holy shit! Glad we could come to that realization together to figure out the teachers union isn't UVM!

This guy has both claimed to be some secret squirrel ex military and also a Fed or cop, he is/was none of these things. The guy lost his gun rights and can’t legally own or handle firearms yet somehow he’s running a paramilitary military school and threatening to kill his neighbors.
