A full grown man in a position of power should not be going after a 14 y/o girl and calling her voyeuristic because she chooses to use the restroom/locker room with which she identifies.

Not sure about you, but I don’t know many full grown men who bully minors about their gender and journey of self discovery/personhood. And the ones I do know can most certainly be described as bigoted.

Oh, is that what that word means? I had to look it up. It said, "bigoted (adjective): having or revealing an obstinate belief in the superiority of one's own opinions and a prejudiced intolerance of the opinions of others."

Ok, let me try to use it in a sentence: because they were unable to meaningfully engage with the content of his viewpoint, the bigoted redditors resorted to insulting and defaming the police officer instead.

How did I do?

Ahhhh, town meeting day floor votes.

Where the white haired landed gentry make the spending decisions for the town without having to see or hear from the working poor, the house bound, the sick, the traveling, the shy or the rest of the undesirables.

The town meeting day tradition of discrimination by floor vote needs to end.

If there were justice in this country, any cases his department touched involving POC would at the very least be ruled a mistrial due to clear racial bias from the department. This is the same shit Oj Simpson walked free for. Instead the state will refuse to address this, and people will stay in prison regardless of clear police bias in their case.

Other parts of America use recent immigrants for construction labor. As Trump famously described, from one of those "Mexican countries". There's legal immigration and there there is the having to cross 2+ countries (illegally) overland, then pay a coyote, then make it over the border, perhaps be forced into packing a load of dope at the same time, then 50+ miles hiking across the Tohono O'odham Nation, then evading further immigration checks... which kind of leads to an amazing selection process for a work ethic.

But Vermont's future doesn't seem to have lots of recent migrants from anywhere.

I'll just leave this here.

Shhhh don't tell them that.

But for real it's easy to sell a house.

My house is worth double right now. If I was to sell I'd have a lot of cash but it would be impossible to buy another one with the rates and people with even more cash and most likely I would be denied a loan. Maybe I would get lucky but I doubt it. I don't think I even have it in me to to try. Not that I want to anyway.
