They do lose their business. They are liable to lose their entire LLC and everything owned by it.

Over 70% of rentals in Vermont are owned by small or medium landlords and are usually held in LLC’s. The tax benefits of being a landlord are not anywhere near as advantageous as I had assumed before I read more about it for a family member

Personally, I think you're conflating LLC behavior with that more typical of corporate REI’s but I’m entirely sympathetic your EAT THE RICH vibes

That was the weirdest thing about driving a semi truck, I delivered to a lot of construction sites, and many times you'd see another big truck just sunk up to the doors, you'd get out to walk around and see how soft the ground was, and it would feel like concrete, just rock hard. But for heavy heavy trucks, they can get so very stuck in what seams like a perfectly good road, hah. Enough to make you paranoid...

Of course not, he's getting paid by the hour, not the delivery. I always took my time and drove extra careful when I was on the clock. That's the driver's insurance getting surcharged, not the boss', if there's an infraction tagged on their license.

Plus a lot of us are just plain proud of being able to stuff with big trucks in small spaces and want to show off from time to time.

You're just throwing shit at a wall at this point. People can file lawsuits over anything they want, and unless you somehow completely revamp the judicial system in this country, there's nothing you can do to stop them. You hope that if their case is BS it gets thrown out early by a motion to dismiss or eventually on summary judgment, and that the court awards sanctions or fees, but that still requires a defendant to litigate

Hop'n Moose is great, but I think of them for their beer, or thier overall restaurant vibe. If Rutlanders are forced to focus solely on the pizza, Romuntos and Ted's are still gonna be top of mind.

Also the Chipotle wings at Hopn Moose are my favorite wings in Rutland

They should lose their “business” and be liable. We would have a lot less landlords and a lot more housed people. Houses would not be insanely out of reach if actual human beings could own them. Mom and Pop landlords? Lol. Most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. LLCs don’t have to be attached to them personally, you can have a Montana LLC that has no name attached. A trust can own an LLC. There’s a reason people LLC in Delaware so often. Billionaires use LLCs to avoid taxes and launder money literally everyday. The tax codes are so intricate and so confusing, you have to be an expert to truly understand how they move their money around to legally evade taxes. People from countries like China exit their money via properties and goods.

Women's leagues do exist, we don't need you to advocate for them. They're already here. You keep mentioning sports teams with trans women specifically and implying that they are unsafe but don't seem to be concerned about trans men competing. I've watched female rugby players absolutely demolish fully padded football players so let's not pretend like it's not possible for genders to fairly compete. Considering most female athletes are not paid equitably, treated with the same respect, or provided with the same resources I don't think that most of them would be worried about trans athletes impeding their ability to make a career in sports. Maybe your energy would be better spent in pushing equity regardless of gender if you'd like to further parity in women's sports.

If you really truly do care, then start advocating for folks to focus on better protections for people from things that are actually dangerous, which to this point in this thread you have actually yet to do. It's not about the safety of your daughters or your wives, if it was making sure they aren't interacting with trans women wouldn't be high or on your list of priorities at all. Half the time people (myself included) can't even clock if a person is trans or not, because honestly really what does it matter to you. And for the love of whatever god you may believe in, stop speaking FOR us or OVER us. We can communicate our concerns just fine on our own.

Not on a town meeting floor vote. You have to be there in person, usually at an unknown time to vote on earned articles. (There is no schedule as to when votes are held)

If you are working, housebound, sick, caring for someone who is sick, traveling or deployed, or infirm, you don’t get to vote on your towns budget or school district budgets.

Absolutely a travesty.

> Also, mens sports have no rule stating women cannot participate. The only reason it doesn’t happen is misogynists stopping it.

The main reason is actually the inherent male physical advantage. If you compare track times for males vs females there is essentially no level that female athletes can compete with men on.

This is why it is important for female only sports. People like Serena Williams wouldn't even be able to go pro if there weren't women's categories.
