I'm not suggesting that at all. The point I am making is that in addition to revising zoning considerations you must also impose some form of legislation like is being done in tourist towns out in Colorado to mitigate STR.

Edit: My own neighborhood has 12 single family homes. Since Covid the number of STR has gone from 2 to 5 of the 12 total houses. One of which was formerly a single family for a long term renter who had to move due to the house being sold to someone who turned it into an STR.

For my pergola I did 48ā€ then gravel in the bottom of the hole an some in the sono-tube. No movement in 3+ years. But I was mostly sand in south Burlington.

I think this bill or a similar bill is likely to pass this or next session.

Please read the proposed legislation, it’s linked from the Digger story.

The elements of the regional plan portion of the bill are straight up central planning, including a requirement to hire ā€œhousing resource navigatorsā€ to direct the Towns.

More layers of government regulation never make life (or housing) more affordable for average Vermonters.

Its those wind gusts that’ll get you. Every panel is a wind resistant sail and considerable force will push over your fence. Go the four feet down (its only 48ā€) It’ll be solid.

Been at Walmart for almost 2 years now. Unless you trying to get truck driver job to bring freight to the stores. The actual stores do not do a drug test. I'm assuming truck driver you get tested. I work at the store in Rutland

It's a good report. VPO is doing a great service by shining a light on these people.

That said, the last line made me chuckle: > I’m not telling you to withhold support from these two candidates. I’m just identifying relevant information that the candidates themselves are trying to hide.

I'm not telling you not to vote for these people. I'm just telling you they are terrible, terrible people. lol.
