I'm so used to seeing 'urbanhell' pictures of historic downtowns being demolished for roads/freeways, etc. It's refreshing to see movement occur the other way around!

Ditch AmeriGas and go local. Last winter I was on Rymes with similar highway robbery prices. I was beside myself. I just checked my last fill-up with Gillespie on the 14th: $1.66 a gallon. Some of that is I purchased my own tank last summer when I switched so I get an owned-tank discount which is not insignificant. It's about 5 grand (depending on the tank size and the cost of burying if you are like me and want it out of sight) to do that, my calculated payoff with my propane usage was only a few years, and they last 30-50 before they need replacing.

I remember this. Kids would just cruise around the block endlessly till late at night. Woolworths was a dive coffee counter. Ben & Jerry’s ice cream didn’t exist and Gordon Paquette had just lost the mayoral election to Liberty Union candidate Bernie Sanders. Oh, and the pit hadn’t been dug out for the Underground Mall.

Coming from somebody who grew up in NJ, increasing housing and population in Vermont will require more schools, police, fire, hospitals, social services and government which in returns means your taxes will go up and the cost to live in Vermont will go up. More housing will NOT lower the cost of housing, that is a lie perpetrated by people who want to build more. Just look at NJ, NC, FL, and everywhere that major development and population boom. The housing costs did not go down, the opposite happened, prices went up over time. The cost to build apartment buildings or multi family homes is so high that the developer won’t be leasing them for $1000/month. Dream on. Leave Vermont rural.

I along with most Vermonters consider “cold” as zero degrees or below. This “cool”. You’re just a troll who had to come back for another bite after eleven days. What in the fuck is wrong you? Time to move on. Good day and go bother someone else that you disagree with.

This. As a hiker I've run into them on the trail. They linger at mountain summits where people stop for snacks. The birds will often snatch trail mix or your sandwich whether you offer it to them or not, they're bold and are colloquially known as camp robbers. Like blue jays, they stash food under tree bark for eating later.

It was a toss-up on whether it would look better with or without 'mountain' included on each and knowing that some use these prints as checklists for their hikes I thought it would be fun for them to have them there for that. It is repetitive but since I chose to do just about 60 and not over that I wanted to also make sure the space was filled and that I didn't go too small with the font.

I'll keep it in mind that it isn't always appreciated though!
