Up top is close enough to maplefields and the shooting and stabbing. Drugs are everywhere, the town is managing and average or a shooting or stabbing every other month now. The top of the hill is close to the police station and also where a good amount of cops live.

Also seen plenty of metho-americans on the hill and in the 4 seasons.

You can take the gondolas in Stowe on a round trip without a ski pass, there's a nice restaurant and an amazing view.

Or you could do it on the Ben and Jerry's tour.

Or go to Burlington and watch the sun set over the lake from the park.

This is in wolcott. Our town clerk claims to never have received any of the taxes that were paid from escrow this year for almost half the year. The town raked in fees from the escrows accounts. As one of the people who was affected by this I spent a lot of time on the phone with the escrow company and they thought this was strange. The town clerk has acted as though this is normal. The town report this year says otherwise.

Maybe buy a house when you're ready to live here? We have a hosting shortage and buying a vacation home is pretty selfish at this point honestly.

Edit: also, if you're not willing to do the work of researching for yourself, no fuckin way you're gonna have the grit to actually homestead. Believe me, perusing around for property/townships is the easiest part of homesteading you'll ever do.
