I've never had water in my gas, sounds fishy as hell, I've even used old gas that had water in it, and never had a problem. There must have been a ton of water, and the pump only sucks up part of it sometimes? It sounds totally possible. Fuck that owner, he is a fucker.

This is a VT sub. There is nothing here about VT. This is literally an advertisement to be a test subject.
Maybe there is a sub for Medical Studies.

Hey there, they are outside the house and kind of an eyesore that you can see from the kitchen windows. This is basically the forever home unless we hit the lottery lol. We have a wood stove as a backup heat source in case of power outages, etc.

Typically the provider owns the tanks as it's part of the provider's cost of doing business. You call your service provider (or in my case recently the company that bought them) and they have to come to get the tanks if they are above ground.
If the tanks are abandoned by the provider (I believe it's either 45 or 60 days) then you can call any propane company to remove them - that's when you would be charged a fee to safely disconnect them from your system and for the removal.

The interstates are usually your best bet in a storm.

Not sure. However, anything should be looked into atp if it's causing so many people issue but the investigations are coming up with nothing.

Exactly. I understand the whole thing of being blown off because obviously there isn't a line of cars but something is wrong with it because I have gotten gas 100s of times and been fine. I also have pics from the mechanic showing how much of it was water so Ik it was a real issue and my car was fine all day before that, literally as soon as I turned out the gas station it started to shut down. So it was the gas, and like you pointed out this is just one of many incidents. Something is going on and they should not just be okay with it since it isn't everyone, it's still causing everyday ppl hundreds or more dollars of repairs.

I’ve found all-weathers and AWD to work fine in 99% of Vermont conditions, but there is definitely a limit. Chains are almost never a good idea in VT except for short distances when there is a layer of compacted snow/ice.

Poor Bart. You know, we had a lot of fun tonight. But, there's nothing funny about...vapour lock. It’s the third most common cause of stalling. So please, take care of your car and get it checked. I'm Joe Namath. Good night.

No, the mechanic showed me the fuel and I watched them take it out and saw that it was pretty much all contaminated. They were very trustworthy and charged me appropriately. My car is a 2013 that has never had an issue and it's under 100k miles. It's been perfect other than that. I am from Florida and have been through many rainstorms, hurricanes and then the snow storms from here many times. I was also one of many incidents that has occurred at this same station throughout some months. Edit: They also did use dry gas for the last step just to get the whatever bad fuel was left over since I filled my whole tank with it. I do appreciate the tip though but I have never had this problem with my car and it's seen a lot of water.

Brand new all weather tires - toyed with buying chains. We will be overnighting in rutland in a hotel and head to the mountain/resort Sunday. Hoping that is ok…if not other party has 4x4 and we can take turns doing the 20 minutes to the mountain from the hotel

Yep. Interested to see OP cite New Yorkers as an example of people who prefer to pass. Maybe they should know better? 'Cause I learned why "doing the line" is the way to go back in my heedless early 20s, after doing a 180 off the Northway from the left lane and needing a tow out of 2 feet of snow in the ditch. Turns out snow can unexpectedly drift, even the day after a storm.

I was never trying to talk about mountain roads. I'm only talking about VTers unwillingness to pass and how slow they drive. You're the one who brought up a person riding their brakes on a mountain road.
Are you trying to get in an argument or something? Every response you've given has been slightly off topic from my comment before and slightly confrontational. I hope you're having a good day.

Do you have snow tires? There’s some long steep climbs on Route 4 going up to Killington that might not go well if you don’t.

Because the data isn't actually well covered. There is a dearth of information that includes pre or newly on HRT. It's really hard to prove causation if you don't have data from a baseline. The questions that we're asking that are often met with "nobody knows" are exactly what they're trying to answer with studies such as this.

My propane does not use electricity. It was hard to find a heater that didn't need electric though.

This person also posted on this link on the Burlington specific subreddit. Smells like a red herring for their transphobia.

Riding your brakes down a "mountain" road (let's be honest, it's a 4.5% grade east and 3.5% grade west) to go 20% under the speed limit while the roads are completely clear and dry is reasonable?

I mean, your example is going down a mountain road. Obviously you want to be cautious in that scenario. That's a little different than traveling on a normal route and driving 40 in a 50 for no other reason than you forgot where the gas pedal was.
