If that's the way a simpleton like you can grasp the concept, then yes, they need to sweer the forest floor.
You have two choices. Logging and land management conservation working together or uncontrollable wildfires forever. Even the Natives new this 1,000 years ago. Then again, the natives didn't need to cause drought with pot and almond farms.

What’s your plan if you don’t mind? I’m assuming you got some land.

Essex Cinemas is a stand-out movie theater with friendly employees, good screens and comfortable seats, and a rewards program; back when I still lived in the Burlington area, I would go to a movie there about once a week

That's ok, "all's fair... " - nobody has natural birthright to land. But it's also normal for creatures to fear for, and defend, their dens. "Right" and "wrong" doesn't fit. And NJ? If it turns into that kind of hellhole .... well --- we might as well stick around and 'sow the earth' for sport! 😀 *

Well… the Bijou when it had live piano before the movie.

My apartment failed inspection (of course, it's a VT rental so it's a dump). I am a single person with no kids making well over $60k per year, and when I get booted out of this place I'll be looking for a job in another state. Makes more sense than looking for another overpriced dump here.

Once had a load of wood delivered by a black lesbian in Vt, true story. Was from out of state I believe, the woman not the wood.

Like tearing down a super clean power plant with an extremely low carbon output and a very low mortality rate per kWH in order to replace it with residential solar?

It's refreshing to see a rare voice of logic in the VT power discussion. It's usually, solar good, everything else bad!

Good thing your power output picks up when one needs to be running their heat pumps... Oh, wait. My bad.

Higher VT standards? And the Boston thing. Was watching Bill Burr on Coffee with Jerry last night and at the risk of adding another city to the mix Bill described Boston as San Francisco with racism.

Reply to comment by Beefyaki9111111 in Hi everyone, relocating to northern NH and considering NorthEastern Vermont regional hospital. I’m coming from a Boston hospital ICU and I know it will be vastly different. Looking for somewhere nice to work, with great part time benefits. Also curious if this hospital is union. Thank you ☺️ by Beefyaki9111111
If you’re a nurse in the area, this is the only option you have unless you want to travel quite a distance.

It's also a population that wants no part of integrating into American society (assuming you are talking about Somalis). All the other immigrant groups, including those from other African countries seem at least somewhat interested in being good neighbors and getting along. The Somalis, not so much.

These kind of things need to be more common. Not just in VT, but nationwide.

Nahhhh, Nashua is a Lowell suburb. Salem is just North-north Lawrence.

Are you married w/kids? If not DO NOT MOVE TO ST JOHNSBURY unless you don't mind having zero social life. Zero. None.

VPR is more for the upper crust. Turn it on and you'll get commercials for nannies and wealth management.

Most photos need to be "edited." Photographers use the RAW file format. RAW files come out of camera flat and lifeless, and color needs to be corrected (it may not have been, in this case) and contrast added. The learning curve for processing is much steeper than shooting.

Cool. Like in Boston college move in month (august/ sept) there are always discussions on who gets storrowed! Storrow drive in Cambridge has low bridges and they get stuck under the bridges. New college kid drivers not familiar

They won't though, the old adage of more cows than people has long since died. Hartfor once had 30 heards and now its down to 1. Same with woodstock, Windsor, Hatland, Norwich, Sharon, Promfret, Strafford, Tumbridge.
Without getting too weepy I wish some of you could see the state the way it was even 30 years ago. People at like it'd a paradise now but they never saw it back then.
