That's what battery storage is; dispatchable on demand.

Are they making bread again? I went in after the French family sold it a few years ago and they weren't making it yet. That was a huge part of the draw for that place.
And Paté de Fruit. Hopefully they're making that, too.

JCAT are exceptional people. My Mom had Alzheimer's and still liked to go out to eat, but from time to time, she'd insist on having a BLT, which they didn't have on the menu, and the chef would make one for her anyway. I adored them for that. 158 Main in Jeffersonville was the other spot that were fantastic with her.

Most of the quarries are no longer active. And granite is expensive no matter where is comes from.

They have to love their best loves too. Shoot, my buddy wants to go wandering. I know it's dangerous but, he loves his life. He comes home One day he might not. Way it goes. Wife had a tabby who loved to hunt. He'd bring back birds, rats, you name it. There was a marsh behind the house; hundreds of acres of land to hunt on. One day he just didn't come back. Rocky lived.

With all the old quarries around, I figured everyone would have some stone counters

Definitely at the caliber of Penny, in all honestly, probably higher quality, too.

Nah, not if you sand it and shape it properly. Then it just looks like high-quality wood laminate of some kind. Not quite butcher block, but it looks nice. (And it's pretty inexpensive if you can get it.)

Reply to comment by Beefyaki9111111 in Hi everyone, relocating to northern NH and considering NorthEastern Vermont regional hospital. I’m coming from a Boston hospital ICU and I know it will be vastly different. Looking for somewhere nice to work, with great part time benefits. Also curious if this hospital is union. Thank you ☺️ by Beefyaki9111111
Good luck finding a place in Waterford!

The Dutch Mill on Shelburne Rd! Amazing!
Had a really good breakfast at Our House Bistro in Winooski, but have since heard very unflattering things about the owner.

If you're in Vergennes you got to hit Vergennes Laundry as well.

The Guilty Plate in Colchester, JCAT in Jericho (weekends only, I think), the Parkway Diner in S. Burlington, and the Family Table in Jeffersonville (not Chittenden Co, but not too far either) are all solid choices.
