Did you get convicted? If you did maybe you can get it overturned.

Make psychs legal, keep hard drugs illegal.
Kinda counter intuitive stance on combating the drug epidemic by removing the biggest deterrent to them.

Relying on tourism and despising people that move in then frantically try to change VT to be like wherever they are from, are not mutually exclusive.

Yeah, you are wrong. I suggest you call a real librarian, maybe at the state or uvm, and ask them how much a contract is for a year for an average library database - examples jstore or Lexus nexus. In my knowledge they can range from 1,000 to 100000 annually. Then ask them how much is available for journal archives in the subscription contract. Because sometimes that costs more. Then ask them how many databases they have for a comprehensive digital collection.
A few years ago I heard a statistic- something like only 25% of the world’s information is available online. That’s a small world if your limiting yourself to just that. Oh and do you want to talk about lack of reliable internet services, especially here in Vermont? Libraries are great for their printers but behind the scenes they do more than you can even image. Go visit one sometime. Librarians love to show them off.

Holy shit, I got arrested by him for a marijuana DUI. And funny enough, I had my car illegally searched by him a week later because he “smelled weed”, even though I had not had any marijuana in over a week.

Values shift and change, but our education system would be boosted by parents staying at home occasionally. I'm not saying anyone could afford to, but it would be good for us as people.

Don't try to mount it on your own device... just.. don't. Turn it over to the police or let the bookshop hang on to it.

Engineering? Really?
Are all engineering publications FREE online? How about engineering software, also FREE?
You are incredibly naive about education to think that everything online is free and no licenses are required.

Just need the building owner to paint "childcare 99 cents" on the side and not let it be painted over.
I fuxking love Arizona is still 99 cents.

We are currently trying to cater to everyone. Not just a Tiny percentage of the population. The gender wars need to fuck off for a bit until we reach that goal

I got a Subaru as a rental with out of state plates when my girl got in an accident. I’ve been driving it around all week. It’s easy to spot a local in that thing. They give you a certain look. Subarus have a great AWD system and transmission coupled with a motor that lasts almost exactly 100k before needing a complete rebuild

I agree. People are barely surviving and definitely not thriving. Economic conditions are deplorable. And deaths of despair are not talked about enough as well. This is a societal sickness we allow to go on. The anxiety people, especially families, live with over financial stress is outrageous. The next gen needs parents who aren’t hell bent on their social media persona and are present enough to demand family values return to our households.

Post-secondary education that is worth the cost in affordable locations with highly respected universities is flourishing. Small, expensive, mediocre schools in unappealing locales is not.

I’m not. This is a societal issue. Why should everyone not have the ability to raise their own children? The family lost power decades ago and there is a perpetuated class issue through the generations. I have empathy for your family. I’m not your enemy
