BRO what are you talking about MILLIONS😂😂 do you know the actual death rate for Covid?? I will tell you, it’s not even in the same ball park of a seven digit death rate.

The reference was to the graveyards full of millions of dead due to COVID, a national tragedy, and a serious impact on the economy (both the deaths and our response to the pandemic).

It's quite relevant.

What else was in co-incidence in those years? Massive economic inequality? Drastic unemployment? Pervasive stay-at-home-ism? Drastic deaths and disability due to covid? Economic headwinds leading to the largest amount of inflation in a generation? &c.?

There are /tons/ of confounding factors.

It's not "defunding the police", tho, because that wasn't a thing that actually happened.

They expect you to scramble and panic, don’t. Not sure what legal position you have, executor? Relative? Regardless of that you need some legal advice and possibly representation. These finance people are not your friends.

"It's way bigger than out of staters moving to Vermont, which, again, is not happening."

That's just silly. Anyone with eyes can see that is happening. I can't pretend that the town I live in is not full of out of state plates. The most recent batch of arrivals is from Texas, oddly enough. All of a sudden tons of Texas plates around. I'm going to believe my eyes and the digger (and every other local media outlet) over people who seem to have a vested interest in pretending that increased demand during and after the pandemic hasn't affected housing prices.

From the Globe: "But the pandemic brought a countervailing force. Maine, Vermont and New Hampshire have seen an uptick in new residents arriving from other states, more than 50,000 across the three states since April 2020, even as other Northeastern states — and especially large metro areas — have experienced a surge in out-migration."

But yeah, let's pretend no one is moving here because that is preferable, for reasons I don't understand.

It'll auto-fill the title but you can edit it. Alternatively, if you title the post before adding a link, it'll won't set the title automatically.

Alternatively, it's also common to make a regular "post" (not "link") and the include the news article in the body of the post.

Here's a "link" with an edited title:

Looks like the hospital would only have four months following the publication of the Notice to Creditors to claim a debt. Then looks like you gotta send a Disallowance of Claim within 60 days of receiving the claim. which they have 60 days to respond to. And you want to send that certified mail so you have the full tracking information.

How did your end up. I ended up with every other weekend and taking my ex to court ever other month citing her latest stint in rehab or with addiction until about 3 years later court finally gave me 50/50. Not full custody mind you because she was getting help, and relapsing every few months but still getting help.

Similar thing with my brother except he finally got custody after 6 months in court because theom stopped sending the kid to school for 4 months because she didn't want to get up and help him get ready.

VT custody laws are so slanted toward the mother it is crazy.

I think this may have been a dodged bullet. Regardless of how one feels about the rendering….the museum’s capacity to maintain ownership of the building (and thus the public access spaces they used as part of getting it approved) was a real question mark. Longstanding board members of the museum resigned due to a lack of transparency and space for discourse in the process. It’s a great little museum but I’m not so sure all those train tourists from NYC were going to come in droves when so many museums exist down there…nor am I sure they could effectively compete with Mass MoCA.
