Not around here, but generally they treat their employees significantly better regardless.

Doesn’t have to be. People get away with bad dairy-free ice cream because it’s easy.
Some plant-based ice creams are utterly amazing. I’ll take them over most dairy ice creams on merit alone. That’s rare though. Also expensive.

That’s a really odd take. If I had to point at the most egregious and consistently active corruption I’d say it’s the relationship between a few dozen NGOs that elevate members of our legislature into office and then write the bills that those legislators then push into law. Second to that, the local media outlets who play softball with said NGO sponsored legislation to help keep it out of public scrutiny by not drawing attention to any of the details knowing full well there’d be a mass public revolt if people knew what was being discussed and implemented behind closed doors.
Town business is generally out in the open for anyone who cares enough to find out. In comparison, none of us get to hear the discussions at these NGOs while they draft policy in private for their sponsored legislators to push into law. We only get to hear the PR campaign version with all of the underlying goals and long term intentions watered down for public consumption.

You don’t even buy a cup of coffee from them you buy IP unit that gets bounced from Ireland to BVI less than .95 cents on every dollar you spend there stays in the community, tons of local coffee shops.

Then that is the only one I will ever patronize. Though generally I just make coffee at home. I avoid starbucks when traveling and try to buy coffee from local cafes.

I found a Starbucks travel mug and fill it with Maxwell House, then I drink it inside a Starbucks and nobody knows. One time I filled it with ice water and got away with it, but I’m scared to try that again.

Oh God the Israel plant. I remember the first fucking day I worked at Ben and jerries (St. A location) at the daily meeting they announced that the company would no longer be selling to Palestine because Israel didn't like it. So fucking happy I left. Fuck Ben and Jerry's.

Japanese Knotweed (Polygonum cuspidatum) has a wide range of actions.
It is a long list, but worth citing here: antibacterial, antiviral, antischistosomal, antispirochetal, antifungal, immunostimulant, immunomodulant, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, antiatherosclerotic, antihyperlipidemic, antimutagenic, anticarcinogenic, antineoplastic, vasodilator, inhibits platelet aggregation, inhibits eicosanoid synthesis, antithrombotic, tyrosine kinase inhibitor, oncogene inhibitor, antipyretic, cardioprotective, analgesic, antiulcer (slightly reduces stomach acid and protects against stress ulcers), hemostatic, and astringent.

There are quite a few sites talking about this but I think this is a good one describing how beneficial knotweed can be. If you’d like more help please do not hesitate to ask.
