Do you put gas in your vehicle? Do you drive an electric? Do you eat anything you don't grow or see harvested?

Atleast he took responsibility for his actions... Which is good because his weed is really good. Tall truck is some of the best I've gotten from the rec dispensaries around here.

He took responsibility for the mistake. I respect him for that.
I feel like few take responsibility.

Reply to SC to VT Car Registration by Jackandbeansprout
I filled out the "it's a gift car" paperwork and forged signatures wherever needed so I could avoid the hundred of dollars and reams of paperwork to continue driving my shitbox.

Glad to know the misery of re-registering a vehicle is a Vermont exclusive problem. I was wondering if it was this dumb in every state.

That too. At least it's acknowledged by the businessman and seems lesson learned.

Negative you can still choose not to give your money to people that should not have a cent of it.

Like I said, I don’t drink it because it tastes like shit.
We are really at the stage, and unless you are secretly a billionaire, where every cent we spend eventually ends up in the hands of a corporation that does shitty things and sucks.

I saw highest property tax rates on here, if that's what you are referring to. I'm sure if you have enough money, quality of life in Burlington and SB is high, for now.

Starbucks is a chain, Dunkin Donuts is a franchise. Different business model.

Hi, first day in this sub? Welcome. It’s fun here.... don’t take any of it seriously. Most of these people are not even from Vermont.

Jhm holdings the Nazi money that owns Keurig controls like 22% of all coffee on the planet, so probably brush up on what brands that includes.

He is not getting special treatment. If you look at any number of zoning violations which have made it as far as court cases and state intervention, extensions and delays are the norm, not the exception. This is mostly because the other option is the state going on private land and doing something. What is the state going to do, send in the demo crew to take down an outbuilding and incur the legal risk of doing so? Not to mention, no matter who the person is the headlines of “state bulldozes private structures as owner tries to raise money to appeal” or some such headline baiting bullshit will cause an outcry.
Septic fixes, out building permits, setback violations, all sorts of shit gets a pass. The state has a loud bark and tiny bite on zoning issue.

Contact Green Mountain Club. Trails generally closed until June due to mud and snow melt. Not a good time to plan a hike. Further south in New England should be ok.

Go for it! You will do fine here as Americans live to eat and eat. Come in the late spring and you will love the summer and Autumn. Winter is only 5.5 months long and most days are pretty nice. You will want to be active outside as much as possible. -28F may happen a few days but it makes 20F seem warm. Stowe / Waterbury/ Morrisville are busy year round and really nice people. Skiing, snowmobiling, Mountain Biking, etc .Housing is a challenge but you will be working all the time. That is how people survive, work. The work culture may surprise you.

Yep, it did, for property taxes. Most of the places on this list are HCOL, high tax interestingly. The methodology is pretty armchair and unscientific. Just interesting.
