most probably this video recorded after the mainshock. aftershocks may have destroyed the building.

Oh my, I have been warning people against an earthquake going to happen in Turkey for the last 10 years. The only positive thing is that the epicenter was much further away from Istanbul than I anticipated.

The main problem they face is a large amount of buildings have been developed by corrupt developers who skip out on metal reinforcements inside the cement. The buildings don't stand a chance against earthquakes of this magnitude :(

thank you for wishes. Turkey is now on level 4 alarm which means need national and international support. i haven't seen level 4 alarm since Golcuk (Istanbul) earthquake in 1999.

This is fucking horrible, I can’t imagine anyone would survive that. Praying that all non-survivors were taken instantly without pain or knowledge of what happened.
