What do you do for work that allows you to invest tens of thousands or even hundreds of thousands in stocks?

From the looks of, a lot of folks here have YOLO'd tens of thousands or even hundreds of thousands of dollars in stocks.

I'm curious as to how you made that kind of money to get started in investing in the first place?
