This company spends money like absolute dogshit. At my store alone, we are completely over stocked with product that we are constantly forced to sell for $1 as add ons because the buying is so out of control and indiscriminate we literally can't sell our weed (which should sell itself.) This company wastes money like nothing I have ever seen and they think they can make it all up in the margin (our margins are gross btw, we buy our own quarters for $7 and then sell them to "patients" for $80) but we're still bleeding out with hundreds of millions in debt. Our company has expanded rapidly but has no plan or competent higher ups to actually make anything happen. Curaleaf had massive company wide layoffs to the point that our store has 6 employees total now and no assistant manager. Cannabis is one of the few products that has a unique culture surrounding it, the higher ups all the way down to district management have ZERO understanding of this culture OR of the product itself, they want to make weed into the next Apple while completely ignoring and cutting out the original culture/target market which will not work. Working here actually feels like being on the Titanic, this company is run by absolute fucking idiots and I really really suggest you all steer clear of this stock.
EDIT: Obviously take all this with a massive grain of salt, I'd hope nobody makes any moves based on any one post here alone and the discussion has been cool informative and humbling, but I swear there's been a few responses like literally a handful that it feels like some of you guys took this shit personal like you work at Curaleaf lol it's ok guys it's just bad weed!
